If you contour your nose to look 10% thinner in your photo, the biometric chip will record that thinner measurement. When you arrive at the airport without that specific makeup on, the scanner reads your natural, wider nose and flags you as a non-match.

Keep It Flat

For passport photos, utilize a 'flat' matte foundation to eliminate oily shine, but strictly avoid bronzer or highlighter on the structural edges of your face.
